Muscat, Oman – 22nd March, 2015 – The Sultan Qaboos University Hospital (SQUH) and SAH entered into an agreement that SAH will commission and operate the first PET/CT in the Sultanate of Oman. In addition to the operations, SAH will also provide training, education, and knowledge transfer to the SQUH staff members. SAH is scheduled to start commissioning the Hotlab on April 1, 2015, after SAH physicists provided initial feedback from its visits to the site.
SAH will bring its expertise and highly qualified staff of Nuclear Medicine Technologists, Nuclear Medicine Physicians, Physicists and Radiologists from the U.S. in order to carry out all day to day operations of the facility.
